What is a Therapy Intensive?

Imagine taking a step away from life’s daily stressors to fully focus on yourself and your healing. Our Wellness Intensives and Brainspotting Intensives offer an immersive, intentional experience to dive into your biggest concerns and give you tools that work in real life.

Wellness Intensive

Our Wellness Intensive combines therapeutic techniques and somatic healing practices like tapping to bring ease and clarity back into your body and mind. Using my workbook, Get Real About Self-Care, this intensive helps you go beyond the “quick fixes” and into a deeper, lasting transformation that will leave you feeling lighter and more empowered.

Options: 90 minutes, 1-day, or 3-day sessions

Perfect for: Those feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or out of alignment and needing a guided reset

Brainspotting Intensive

Our Brainspotting Intensive is a fast-acting approach that goes straight to the root of unresolved stress or trauma, offering relief that doesn’t just treat the surface. Whether you’ve tried traditional therapy and want to go deeper or you’re exploring Brainspotting for the first time, this intensive is designed for true transformation.

Options: Half-day, 1-day, or 3-day sessions

Perfect for: Those who feel stuck or blocked, or have tried EMDR and are ready for a new approach

Each session lasts up to four hours and includes a catered lunch if you’re local and attending in person.

  • No, insurance doesn’t cover therapy intensives. Clients will need to agree to opt out of insurance reimbursement. Intensives are private pay only, which allows us the freedom to work outside the limitations set by insurance.

  • Yes, I do offer payment plans. A deposit is required to secure your spot, and the remaining balance can be paid over time. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss payment options that work for you. We also accept Affirm, Afterpay, and Pay Pal.

  • Each intensive includes:

    • A 60-minute pre-planning call to set goals and tailor the experience

    • My Get Real About Self-Care workbook, with exercises and insights to support your process

    • A four-hour intensive session designed to focus deeply on 1-2 key issues

    • A 30-minute follow-up call two weeks after the intensive to reflect and provide ongoing support

  • Yes, absolutely. Many people find that an intensive complements their regular therapy. An intensive allows you to focus deeply on 1-2 specific issues, offering a breakthrough that can be built on with your weekly therapist.

  • Intensives are for individuals who feel “stuck,” are experiencing burnout, or need focused support for stress or unresolved issues. If traditional therapy hasn’t quite been enough or you’re looking for quicker relief, an intensive can provide a powerful boost to your healing.

  • A therapy intensive is a dedicated, immersive experience, typically lasting half a day or multiple days, allowing us to dive deeply into issues that are challenging to address in shorter, weekly sessions. Intensives provide focused time, space, and specialized tools to work on key areas of stress, burnout, or unresolved feelings, offering a more immediate shift than traditional weekly therapy might allow.

  • We offer two types of intensives:

    Wellness Intensives: These include therapeutic techniques and somatic practices, like tapping, and use my self-care workbook to help you release stress and feel more aligned. You can book Wellness Intensives for 90 minutes, 1 day, or 3 days.

    Brainspotting Intensives: This focused technique helps release stored stress or trauma quickly and effectively. Brainspotting intensives are available as half-day, 1-day, or 3-day options.

  • We are here to support your journey, and we’ll schedule a follow-up call two weeks after your intensive to discuss your progress. Many clients find it helpful to continue with a regular therapist for ongoing support or
